2024 Ffxiv audio cuts out

Horizon 5 - Audio cuts out entirely after a few minutes of gameplay. Made it almost 20 or so minutes into the game before this happened the first time. Restarted the game and audio cut out within minutes and has been doing it since. Can't for the life of me tell what's going on because audio from other stuff still plays through my headphones.. But yeah, it's annoying as hell. iirc it has to do with your sound drivers crashing and restarting, but unlike everything else, FFXIV doesn't restore sound when that happens.
