I had a positive pregnancy test, 4 actually (you know just to be sure :)) I ended up getting an HCG blood test and it came ...I had a 10-point drop in hcg - 548 to 538 48-hours later. Another 72-hours after that, I’m at 970 (just under doubling). I’m terrified it’s ectopic. my initial test, which showed the drop, was 48 hours in between. The next one, increased from 538 to 968 from Thursday to Sunday.After no fetus was located on ultrasound, the doctor I met with let me know with the low and decreasing HCG that I likely had a blighted ovum, to prepare for miscarriage and basically wiped her hands clean of me. 4 days later I went for more blood work and my HCG went back up a bit! I went back for blood work again yesterday and it's up even ....
